A slew of calls from people wanting to complain and problem dump in the same manner that they have for months and even years has prompted me to write this piece. When we have a physical ailment, we visit the doctor or treat ourselves homeopathically. With mental or emotional issues, we talk to friends and family, work through them on our own via a creative or physical outlet, perhaps see a professional therapist.
I propose exploration and understanding of subtle bodies so that one may identify and recognize his or her own emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances/blockages. From the place of recognition, one can begin to heal.
We handle our physical illnesses responsibly not only for our own sake but out of the courtesy and respect for others. For instance, one would not mingle at a party with strep throat. A similar standard of responsibility should be followed for issues in all bodies. Pouring these upon people can be draining and detrimental especially if they are not equipped to handle.
To clarify, I am not saying to withhold expressing your feelings to others. However, if your content becomes habitual or you are stuck in the same "mental loop"/pattern, it's time to transform. Repeating the same information to the point that others can expect you to be a certain way indicates that your energy is stagnant, which in turn becomes negative.
Like taking responsibility for your physical health and well being, maintain high standards for your emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies not only for yourself but for others.
